EloScan Compact

Today's non-destructive testing applications increasingly require complex movements of the sensor along the component to be inspected. So - based on our "large" universal test system EloScan- we decided to develop a new, compact robot cell. It can be adapted to various test tasks easily, e.g. by integration into the production line or if used for laboratory purposes. The system provides 2 different modes of operation. One mode allows the sensor to be moved along the contour of the component. The other mode concerns moving the component relative to the fixed sensor by use of an appropriate gripper. The robot cell can be completed by a tool changing station, additional measuring devices or user-specific installations. Last not least it is possible to expand the robot kinematics by adding further linear or rotational axes.
