Description
The inspection system for cylindrical pins has a modular structure and is set up according to customer requirements specifically with numerous extra functions. Crack detection is performed on the strand using an EC 15 eddy current rotor with an adjustable RDE rotating head.
During feeding, the entire part strand is fully scanned by eddy current. Even the smallest cracks are indicated by the ELOTEST PL600 eddy current device, and the parts are automatically rejected in the subsequent sorting station. The calibration with reference parts is also automated.
